It has been a year!
To start I made the decision to change career paths last February/March. I was working in biology research and decided to pursue technology picking up from the computer science classes I took during undergrad. To do this as efficiently as possible I joined an online coding bootcamp (more on this in a post to follow). For most of the last year I was working a full time research job (quite often more than 40 hours a week) and working on my bootcamp course another 30-40 hours a week. This didn't leave much time to do anything else.
Over the last year I did take some time to do fun things. Steve and I went to two weddings. The first being Eric and Annie's wedding which we were both in. The second was my friends from college. Both weddings were great and I had a lot of fun helping Annie with various crafts for her wedding.
Steve and I also spent a week in London around Thanksgiving (I plan to do a full post on this soon). It was my first time off of the North American Continent and we had so much fun.
With everything that has gone on recently I have not had much time for knitting and I am SOOOO EXCITED to start knitting again. Not going to lie there may been a three day knitting binge in my near future.
I have so much more to update on and plan on doing some longer, more detailed and focused posts in the near future. Keep an eye out!
