WIP Wednesday: Passerby Sweater Part I

Close up of Ironstone Fun Wool to highlight rainbow colors

Several years ago my mom gave me six skeins of Ironstone Fun Yarn in the Rainbow colorway. She had purchased it for a project and decided not to make it so she passed the yarn on to me. It has been sitting in my yarn stash for several years and I finally decided to try and make something with it. This yarn is listed as a Super Bulky weight so that is what I looked for in a pattern. I knew I wanted a simple sweater pattern to let this yarn shine and fell in LOVE with the pattern Passerby by Erika Knight.

So far I have finished the front and back of the sweater and I am working on knitting the sleeves. I have been working on this on and off for about two weeks and so far it has been a very quick knit.

I am hoping to finish knitting the sleeves this week. Then I can start sewing the seams and knit the collar. I can't wait to block this sweater and see the final product.

What are you working on (knitting or otherwise)?
