Since I have been MAJORLY neglecting my blog I thought a great first post back would be some facts to get to know me a little better.
1. Knitting - It would be a little shocking if The Covert Knitter didn't knit! I started knitting the summer of 2013 when I was home on a break from college. I was hooked very, very quickly and have been knitting as close as possible to nonstop ever since.
2. Work - My degree is in science and I applied for many, many jobs while trying to find one that fit me well. I currently work as a research tech in an academic setting and absolutely love it.
3. Milwaukee - I moved to Milwaukee in October 2017 for a job, only knowing some family. It took me a little while to make friends. I am having so much fun exploring the city.
4. Food - I LOVE food and would definitely classify myself as a foodie! As I write this one of my friends and I are discussing all different types of tea. Unfortunately I developed a gluten allergy in 2012 which has definitely made things harder, but I always find something I can eat.
5. Style - Trying to define my style has been difficult! Generally I buy what I love, if I don't love it I leave it in the store. Personally I would say three styles that I am closest too are Classic, Preppy and Glam. I love classic shapes and patterns in bright colors with lots of sparkle.
Tell me something about yourself in the comments!
