I LOVE good food! This unfortunately is complicated by being gluten intolerant but I do my best to work around it and always am able to find something to eat. One of my favorite things to do is explore restaurants as well as to go back to favorites and try as many things on their menu as possible. This is a round up of the food pictures I have taken in the past month.

DiModa - Fig and Prosciutto Pizza. This pizza was so good I have had it twice in one month!

Good City Brewing Company - Chicken Sandwich on Gluten Free Bun with Curry Fries

Beerline Cafe - Crepe Suzette

Beerline Cafe - Rosemary-Garlic Red Potatoes and Strawberry Turmeric Lemonade, had with the Crepe Suzette

Summerfest - Bacon Wrapped Prime Rib Bites from Ward's House of Prime Rib. These were SO AMAZING!

Summerfest - Prime Rib Sandwich from Ward's House of Prime Rib. Ended up not eating the bun just the prime rib.

Summerfest - Lemonade. This is the only way the cup would fit in my hand. Amazing Lemonade!

Kompali - Tacos (from left to right) Nopales (sauteed cactus), Shrimp, and Al Pastor all on Corn Tortillas. Not a fan of the cactus the texture was off for me. With a Mango Margarita to drink.

Finally have counter space for my panini maker. This was one of my go-to's this month. Turkey, Pepper Jack Cheese, Spinach, Tomato and Mayo on Trader Joe's multi grain Gluten Free Bread,

Beerline Cafe - Hash Brown Benedict. This was very good and I was pleasantly surprised by the tofu ham.

Beerline Cafe - paired with the previous picture a Honey and Fresh Berries Crepe

Fushinami - My boyfriend and his cousin wanted sushi, I don't like sushi so I go the Seafood Delight. This was seriously the best seafood I have had! Every piece was cooked perfectly.

The Loaded Slate - Mimosa mini pitcher

The Loaded Slate - Loaded Omelette. I got Bell Peppers, Bacon and BBQ Pulled Pork. Paired with their Pub Fries.

Most of the pictures I take every year do not end up posted to either my blog or any of my social media pages. That is one thing I would like to get better about but we will see if that actually happens or not. While I may be bad at taking and posting a ton of pictures I am relatively good at living in the moment! Here are some of my favorite pictures from this year.

January

Buster used my ball of yarn as a pillow.

Henry trying to get me to move.

That look...too cute not to include!

March

DNA hats for the March for Science.

April

A trip to visit friends in La Crosse! I do miss the food.

Bobby and I learned we are really not march activists...so we got a fabulous lunch.

Sun set on over the Mississippi River

 Always loved this view!

 June

High water over rapids...Getting to explore with someone new!

July

 Where I fell in love.

September

Where he eventually broke my heart.

October

Moved to a new city...and trying all the resturaunts!

December

Exploring my new home. My brother was with this weekend.

 Meeting new friends!

RIP Droid Mini you made it 3 wonderful years!

Home for Christmas...I always love the tree!

Buster is King of the ripped wrapping paper.

Christmas Selfie...First one with my new phone!

And Henry...once again trying to get me to move so he could have my spot.

Overall there were a lot of ups and downs this year. There are a lot of things I am proud of, like finally finding a job, and I learned a lot of lessons. Overall I am not sad to see this year go. I am looking forward to 2018 and hope it will be a great year.

Have a fun and safe New Years Eve

This weekend I am going on a road trip! To start it off I have a job interview which I will be traveling around four hours for (wish me luck). Then since I am closer to some friends than home, I am going to visit them. While we have a lot of fun things planned my best friend is still in school so to fill my time while she studies I am going to bring knitting with me.
This reminds me of a saying my mom once cross stitched onto tote bags:
"Where ever I go, what ever I do, I'm never along my stitching comes too."

For me it would be Where ever I go, what ever I do, I'm never along my knitting comes too! I will also hopefully be able to take some time and find a yarn store along my travels.

Hope you all have a great weekend!
